Canossa Vocational Training Center (CVTC-Suai), abbreviated to CVTC. Founded by Sister Sonia Sangel, FdCC, Canossian Daughters of Charity. Initially the center was designated by the name of “MESTRA DE CAMPANHA” a name that inspired by Saint Madalena de Canossa, founder of the  Canossian congregation which intended to train rural women, empowering them with technical, moral and religious skills so that they can develop their villages when they return to their homes.

In 2007 programs were divided into three: Hospitality, administration and Foundation.  The common structure of the center belongs to the Canossa Foundation, and the organization approved by Provincial Mother of the Provincial of São José in Timor-Leste of the Institute of Canossian Daughters of Charity and Servants of the Poor (FdCC).

The Canossa Vocational Training Center was certified by SEPFOPE on October 12, 2014, with registration number 025.
